Chest and Belly Guard Measurements
Measure your dog to determine the best fit for a Chest and Belly Guard. Free Spirit manufacturers a Regular and Narrow Chest and Belly Guard to accommodate the chest widths of different breeds. For example, Black Labs with their wider chest may fit a Regular Chest and Belly Guard, while a Spaniel might fit a Narrow.

The Neck measurement is taken all the way around the dog at the withers. You measure this by finding the base of the neck (the throat area - similar to the adams apple on a human) to the back of the neck (withers of the dog) and then back to the neck. Note, this is typically lower than where the collar sits. The necks are adjustable within the ranges listed in the chart.

The Chest Width is the width of the fabric in the chest area. You don't want this too wide or it will chafe the dog on the inside of their legs.

Protect your dog from being scraped by heavy brush. This dog vest covers the chest and belly area. Made of waterproof Cordura that we double through the center. Generous nylon web straps with quick release closures are adjustable and easy to use. Available in blaze orange.
